These Terms and Conditions apply to purchases made through the Trains and Terrains website. By placing an order with us, you agree to these terms.

Trains and Terrains sells 3D-printed model railway products and accessories.

For the purposes of these Terms and Conditions, "Trains and Terrains", "we", "us" and "our" refer to the business operating the Trains and Terrains website.

We make every effort to ensure that product descriptions, photographs, dimensions and specifications are accurate. However, because our products are 3D-printed, minor variations in appearance, surface finish or dimensions may occur.

Unless a product description specifically states otherwise, products are supplied unpainted and may require cleaning, preparation, assembly and/or painting.

Some products may be supplied attached to printing supports or sprues where appropriate.

Product photographs may show painted or finished examples for illustration purposes only. Any items, materials or accessories not specifically included in the product description are not included with the purchase.

All prices displayed on our website are in pounds sterling (£).

We reserve the right to change prices at any time, but price changes will not affect orders that have already been accepted.

Delivery charges, where applicable, will be displayed before you complete your purchase.

When you place an order, you are making an offer to purchase the products selected.

An order confirmation does not necessarily mean that your order has been accepted. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel an order where, for example, a product is unavailable, there is an obvious pricing or listing error, or we reasonably suspect fraudulent activity.

Once your order has been accepted, we will process and dispatch it in accordance with the information provided on the website.

Payment can be made using the payment methods offered at checkout, which may include PayPal, Stripe and GoDaddy payment services.

Payment must be received before an order is dispatched.

We currently ship orders to addresses within the United Kingdom.

Estimated delivery times are provided as a guide and are not guaranteed unless specifically stated otherwise.

Once an order has been dispatched, delivery is carried out by the relevant postal or delivery service. We are not responsible for delays caused by circumstances outside our reasonable control, including postal delays, severe weather, strikes or other disruptions.

Please ensure that the delivery address provided when ordering is correct. We cannot accept responsibility for orders delivered to an incorrect address supplied by the customer.

If you are a consumer purchasing from us online, you generally have the legal right to cancel your order within 14 days of receiving the goods, without having to give a reason.

You then have a further 14 days to return the goods after notifying us that you wish to cancel.

Returned goods should be unused and in their original condition, where reasonably possible. You are responsible for taking reasonable care of the goods while they are in your possession.

Unless the goods are faulty, damaged or not as described, you are normally responsible for the cost of returning goods following cancellation.

Where a valid cancellation is made, we will provide a refund in accordance with applicable UK consumer law.

We take care to ensure that products are made and packaged to a high standard.

If your order arrives damaged, faulty, or contains an incorrect item, please contact us as soon as reasonably possible with details of the problem. Photographs may be requested to help us investigate.

Your statutory rights under UK consumer law are not affected by these Terms and Conditions.

Where a product is faulty or does not conform to the contract, you may be entitled to a repair, replacement, price reduction or refund depending on the circumstances and applicable law.

Our products are manufactured using 3D-printing processes. As a result, small imperfections, support marks, minor surface variations or other characteristics associated with the manufacturing process may occasionally be present.

These characteristics do not necessarily constitute a defect where they are consistent with the nature of 3D-printed products and do not materially affect the product's intended use.

Customers should handle small and delicate components with appropriate care.

All original product designs, photographs, graphics, text, branding and other content created for Trains and Terrains remain the intellectual property of Trains and Terrains or the relevant rights holder.

You may not reproduce, copy, distribute, sell, modify or commercially exploit our designs, photographs or other content without our prior written permission.

Purchasing a physical 3D-printed product does not transfer ownership of the underlying digital design or intellectual property.

You agree not to misuse our website, attempt to gain unauthorised access to it, interfere with its operation, or use it for unlawful purposes.

We make reasonable efforts to keep the information on our website accurate and available, but we do not guarantee that the website will always be available, error-free or free from interruptions.

Nothing in these Terms and Conditions excludes or limits any liability that cannot legally be excluded or limited under UK law, including your statutory consumer rights.

Subject to those rights, we will not be responsible for losses that could not reasonably have been anticipated or that arise from circumstances outside our reasonable control.

We will not be responsible for failure or delay in performing our obligations where this is caused by circumstances beyond our reasonable control, including natural disasters, severe weather, strikes, transport disruption, government action, technical failures or other significant events.

Our collection and use of personal information is explained in our Privacy Policy, which forms part of the information provided to customers when using our website.

These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of England and Wales.

Any disputes will be subject to the applicable courts of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer rights that may apply.
